In essence, tasbih here means “obedience to the prophet”. Another condition required of a Muslim when he/she recites tasbih is that he/she must always face Mecca. The reason behind this is that Mecca is the place of Eid and one should fast there, as it is mentioned in the sacred book, the Shariah. Therefore, if one is not able to visit Mecca regularly, then he/she may not be able to fast on the day of Eid.
